Mr. Byron Doc Carroll


Byron “Doc” Carroll lives in the North Myrtle Beach, SC area at his family's vineyard. He loves to make new friends and has a deep passion for service to our country. This passion led him to found Carroll International.

Carroll International is an SDVOSB, HUB Zone, VAR of General Dynamics Mission Systems that is in DoD’s Mentor protégé Program with GD-MS.  The company’s core business focus is supplying IT and communications products and services it’s customer’s needs.

As a veteran, he believes that service to the country is a lifelong commitment.  Mr. Carroll has served as a soldier, civic leader, and professionally as a federal supplier.

He started the parent company to Carroll International in 2006. In addition to his numerous achievements, Mr. Carroll is a Paul Harris Fellow along with being a decorated Paratrooper Combat Medic in the US Army. He has received Congressional Recognition for his service in 2012.  Mr. Carroll has won the NC state masters division public speaking competition, twice. His awards include Army Achievement Medal x3, GJW, NC Junior Chamber VP of the Year, Multinational Peace Keeper, HBA SPIKE, JayCee All-Star of the Year, and Certified Prime Business Trainer. When he is away from the office, Mr. Carroll is an avid outdoorsman and world traveler.

· Lincolnton, NC Chamber Committee Chair

· United Way Speakers Bureau Member

He has led many professional retreats, speaking on leadership, and team building. He focuses on experiential training for large and small companies that seek to expand their horizons.
